I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I saw this lovely girl in person… my guess would be sometime in my senior year, 15 years ago. But apparently I make an impression! I was super excited to get a call from her asking if I’d do the honor of shooting her wedding, near her new home in Chicago, Illinois.

I lept at the chance! Yes, it will be amazing! And it was! A completely gorgeous spot for everything, from the suite at the Courtyard Marriott, to Thunderhawk, their gorgeous wedding venue/golf course. Shelley made such a stunning and timeless bride. I only wish her mom would’ve been there to see all of her special attention to detail.

The colors were perfect for the season. Everything fit seamlessly together, as she and John do. Though he may not have been as excited about the dancing portion of the evening, their goofy humor will bind them for life! Can’t wait to see where they go!

I could get used to this

The Courtyard Marriott gave us a perfect spot to stay out of the cold for a little bit, and I loved this chill day!

This ring was a GORGEOUS family heirloom! Wait until you see it in all it’s macro glory!

It may have been spotty, but we did what we could to get some gorgeous snow shots!

Shelley was such a stunning winter bride, something about her reminds me of old hollywood glamour <3
