Vincent Wedding
Hi. I feel like I have really let this blog go, and it’s time for me to reintroduce myself. What better time than to also introduce you to my family? In many professions there comes a time when you have to make a tough decision about being your home self for a family member, or providing your professional skill set. I have had a very small family, then I “married” into a very close knit local family. I personally have 5 cousins and 1 sister. In the past 44 years, there has been ONE wedding. (And yup, I shot that too) I have attended, advised, coordinated, and shot, many weddings as a professional, but can count on one hand the number I have attended as a guest. Heck I think I’d still have to give you change. This one, (and ironically, another, next year) was my chance to attend….and simply… enjoy. BUT… what happens, is that you want the people you love, to have something beautiful…and it’s something that you have what it takes to provide. So you do.
Kennedy (and her gaggle of helpers) did an absolutely phenomenal job with this backyard wedding, in a time frame that was commonly unheard of. Of all the weddings I’ve been a part of, this truly lives at the top. And I am beyond excited to have these two as a part of my family, and to be a small part of the adventure they are about to embark on. 2026 is the start of something great!
Maybe someday I’ll sit and cry at a wedding, but today was not that day, and tomorrow doesn’t look good either. #gotowork
*oh and p.s. my baby is the flower girl #proudmama <3
