Hotchkiss Wedding

“Oh, I know it’s not much but it’s the best I can do… My gift is my song… And this one’s for you…”

Always a bridesmaid… and now she’s a bride. I met Ali a few years ago as a bridesmaid in the beautiful Kraniak wedding. Now it’s Renee’s turn to stand at Ali’s side for her big day!

I have no idea how they do it, with all the beauty and smiles, but the rain seems to follow them from season to season. So choosing a STUNNING indoor venue, in August, was the best plan yet! (It rained through their engagement session in January too!)

Everything was perfect, the beautiful wedding party, the glowing lights, the drop-dead dress. From start to finish it was all breathtaking old school glam. I was so grateful to be a part of it! I can’t wait to watch as these two make a family as beautiful as they are <3 Congratulations Ali and Ryan!

How Did You Meet?

Ali: College – Northwood University

How Did You Meet?

Ryan : We went to college together.

What advice do you have for other brides?

Ali : It goes by so fast! Enjoy every minute of it together. Take a moment to step away with your new husband/wife and just take everything in.

What was your favorite part of the day?

Ryan : The final dance at the reception.

What was your favorite part of the day?

Ali : The first look was an amazing expierence. At the very end of the night, everyone who was still there formed a big circle around the dance floor and had Ryan and I dance to Piano Man in the middle as the very last dance. Watching our flower girl, Stella was adorable. Being together with all of our friends and family for the weekend was the best! I’ve never felt so much love.

What advice do you have for other grooms?

Ryan : Take time to mentally capture the moments throughout the wedding and reception.

How long have you known each other?

Ali  : We have known each other for probably 8 years but just under 2 years from 1st actual date to the wedding.

How long have you known each other?

Ryan  : We have known each other since 2005-2006.

What would you change about your day?

Ryan : I would like it to go slower, it felt like it flew by.
AliI would make the day twice as long – it went by way too fast. Everything else was even more wonderful than I ever could have imagined.
