Michigan Muddy Trash The Dress Session

“I don’t know what to do… Because every time I try and tell her how I feel… it comes out “I love you”… You got whatever it is…”

So what would you do, if 5 years after your wedding, you show up to help clean up for a party, and there stands your wife in her wedding gown? Well…. this!

Last year Brittney’s sister, Courtney, helped make all my dreams come true by being my first client to Trash her Dress, and she went all out! Not to be shown up by little sis, Brittney joined the party! Same location, same family, whole new adventure! (Including a mishap that involved coming back the following day with a metal detector to find the lost wedding ring! Oops!)

I know that it’s hard for some people to wrap their head around why women would do this to a beautiful and extremely costly dress… here is part of my reply, as I actually have many…  This dress may have symbolized a perfect day. But life’s not perfect. Marriage isn’t perfect. You get dirty. Where your wedding day images were a beautiful display of your love. This shoot is a beautiful display of your life. Live it. <3

If there’s one thing I could tell every bride-to-be, it’s that your images are the second most important thing about your wedding day…as it’s the only thing besides your groom, that you’ll have for 10, 20, 50 years to come. (And that will one day meet your grandkid’s sticky little fingers!) So if you’re looking for a photographer for YOUR big day, text me! We can get together and chat over chai tea lattes (I don’t like Starbucks coffee….yes, I’m a white girl! Crazy, I know!)… I’ll help you check one more thing off the to-do list that’s about to start stressing you out!
