Emily + Andrew

“I like to take her out to dinner… I like a movie now and then… But I love this bar…”

Though I tried to push for them for a little while, I rarely get the opportunity to do lifestyle sessions. I think as great of an idea as it sounds, not having to “pose”, people still come nervous and really desire the direction.

NOT these two! From the first time we sat down together I knew… we were going to have NO problems being comfortable! (Getting some straight face shots, being posed and serious, however? That might be a dilemma.)

So, how this lifestyle engagement session at Whichcraft in Midland, Michigan, came to be…. I ask a couple of questions about common likes or where he proposed… and lucky for me, this fabulous business kept coming up! This is where they MET for the first time… a set up for her… he was a little more oblivious to this point of the gathering… and it was where one of the final clues of her proposal scavenger hunt led her! (See the final destination in the next half of this session later this week 😉

I may not be a beer drinker, but this is definitely one of my favorite places in the Tri-Cities!

This is actually THE table where they first met <3

Of course they ordered ALMOST the same thing too… how cute.

Total side note, these tables are made out of bowling lanes! How cool is that?!

They promised me there will be big bowls of checkers at the wedding. Ask them about it sometime 😉

Seriously, these two are my relationship role models. Bring on the laughter!
