This girl! I swear! How lucky am I to have her on my BSC Model Team this year!? I freaking LOVE her! Kristi embodies what it is to be a senior girl. She takes nothing for granted and lives for every moment and experience. She is such a pleasure to work with, her enthusiasm for every shoot is unmatched, and her willingness to try any thing I throw at her makes me insanely happy!
Kristi choose to take her session north to Houghton Lake, MI where she’d spent some time as a kid. And man did she wow me. This dam was the perfect fun, adventurous location of my dreams, and she was up for anything! Including taking her prom dress for a little swim in an out of the box way! I think of it as Dirty Dancing meets 2016 <3
Also open to whatever hair and makeup changes I could come up with, I LOVE adding undo’s to a session (I mean really, who wears long hair down, ALL summer??). So a little rocker bun at an abandoned motel (COLOR tv and DIRECT dial! This place was swanky! hahaha), and a grown up side braid for the dress she chose from the BSC Style Closet. (Yup! I’m starting the process of making BSC Senior Sessions a complete one-stop shop! A style consult and putting together looks from the closet means one less thing to stress about when planning your session!)
This isn’t the last time you’ll be seeing this beauty, so much more to come this year! Can’t wait to watch her take on senior year!

What school activities do you participate in?
I’ve been swimming for the past 5 years. At first I joined just because I was looking for a new sport to try after being in cheer for 5/6 years. After I joined swim I instantly fell in love with it and have been doing it ever since. It’s a great way to escape all of my problems going on and get rid of any stress especially after a long day of school. Everyone on both my school team and my summer league team are all big families and it’s nice to be with other people who you can relate with so much and feel so comfortable around.
What are you most looking forward to senior year?
The most I’m looking forward for is to make the best out of my senior year and create memories that are going to last me a lifetime.
What are your current plans after graduation?
My current plans for after I graduate is to go to Delta for two years, transfer over to Saginaw Valley and go there for another two years, then once I’m done at Saginaw Valley I’m going to transfer to Central Michigan and get my doctorate in sports physical therapy then travel with a professional sports team.
Why did you choose blacksheepchic?
I decided to choose Blacksheepchic because I saw one of my friends post that she was applying to be a spokesmodel and I was very interested so I decided to check I out. And I am beyond thankful I decided to go with Blacksheepchic for my senior pictures!
What do you think makes blacksheepchic different?
Leslie is the most unique photographer I have ever worked with. She won’t go to the same location as she has before with anyone else, she is super creative, and she is very upbeat and funny. Leslie doesn’t follow the “standards” of how senior pictures are supposed to look, she adds her own little touch to make sure your pictures are very unique. She loves to go driving around until she finds a cool location instead of going to the same location time after time after time.
What was your favorite thing about your session?
My favorite thing about my session was that Leslie was more than willing to travel almost two hours to go to a location that has a lot of meaning to me. She helped me pick out my outfits and they all in a way resmble me and the things I love. I had a bunch of fun working with her.
Which was your favorite look?
I loved all of my “looks” from my senior session but if I had to pick just two, it would be my prom dress in the water and the punk look at the abandoned motel. I never would have thought to get pictures taken like that and they all turned out gorgeous! My prom dress outfit is so unique and I’ve already gotten many compliments from all of my friends!
