Let me start out by saying…. THEY. OWN. SHEEP. That’s right, you heard me…SHEEP. Like blackSHEEPchic. It was totally meant to be, and I definitely need to meet the sheep! Ok, moving on 😉
So I me Mindy and her mom a little while back, and let me tell you, sweetest girl ever! And if I have a guess, a total people pleaser! Her wedding is going to be amazing, and I bet she is insanely good at her job!
Though we didn’t get the fall color we’d hoped for… a dang week early… at least the weather gods were gentle on us! So. Much. Rain. This season! Why does everyone love fall again? (Donuts?)
Can’t wait to see what Mindy has planned for my first trip to a new Mid-Michigan wedding venue! Until then…

Kody : Grain Marketer
Mindy : I’m a registered nurse!
Where are you from?
Kody : Midland, MI
Mindy : I grew up in Midland!
How did you meet?
Kody : Our Senior year of high school we were both in a AP/IB Biology Class, we met on the field trip to Pellston, we also happened to be co-workers at a local pumpkin patch.
Mindy :We actually went to middle and high school together but never really knew each other until we had a biology class our senior year together. Almost 7 years later, we’re engaged!
What was your first date?
Mindy : This is awful, I don’t really remember our first date! We had class together and both worked at a pumpkin patch that fall, and my first impression was definitely his humor and the ability to make people laugh! If I really had to guess where we went on a first date, I’d say a movie, maybe dinner!

Kody : We went Christmas Shopping together and had a good time
How long had you been dating before getting engaged?
Kody : Close to seven years
Mindy : 6 years and 7 months!
Where are you going to live after the wedding?
Mindy : We bought a house in Hope, we live on 14 acres with 4 cows and some 20 or so sheep!
