Barst Wedding

“Well, I won’t give up on us… Even if the skies get rough… I’m giving you all my love… I’m still looking up.”

I remember the day I first met up with Andria and Anthony out at Crumbs in Saginaw. They were planning this full formal winter wedding with a reception at the Temple Theater. I was SO excited! This was going to be epic! And let me tell ya…. they didn’t disappoint! It was even more than I could have imagined! Absolutely stunning!

The three of us had a great time out on the sand dunes last summer shooting their engagement session on the edge of a cliff! And despite the sudden change in weather, we had a great time! This day was no different. Anthony rocked his portraits (eyes open in ALMOST all of them! 😉 and Andria was as stunning as ever (even if walking in that dress was a little more difficult than anticipated 😉

Their wedding party was a complete treat, and played along with some of my wackier ideas. (Just wait…you’ll see.) And their choice of entertainment was off the chain! (Yes, I’m aware that statement dates me…) It was the perfect day for the perfect party! We should do it all again, just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke!

Isn’t her ring to die for?! Gah! But the real trick is Anthony’s ring, he broke that finger and it doesn’t open straight anymore, making it impossible to get a ring on… so they made it to latch after it’s put on… genius!

I love a man in a tux. Sure, there’s something to be said for the new summer looks of suspenders and vests, but nothing beats bringing it back to the classics. A full tux with bow ties? *Swoon* And I’ve got to hand it to Edwards Mens Shop, they definitely have a knack for fitting suits over “the other guys”…

Holy Family Catholic Church was a stunning sanctuary for a winter wedding! Haven’t seen one this breathtaking since Anthony’s cousin Lauren’s wedding 364 days prior 😉

So the ring part took a little bit…

Let’s take a minute to appreciate this family picture… and the look on that baby’s face! <3

A gorgeous long veil and wind! Be still my heart!

EEEEEEE!!!!!!!! I have been SOOOOOOO excited about this FOR-EVA!

So, due to the cold, we were trapped inside for pictures… but what better place to have some fun?! These need a tiny bit of info to possibly make them that much more priceless… this is a series, and each image has a theme. I gave them a genre of movie they were watching, and let it roll… Gah, I heart my job! Annnnnd GO!

Action/Adventure

Comedy

Horror

Chick Flick

and for a twist… “First Date”

Beautiful people, a stunning church, a classic theater…. and a reception fit for a princess! Prepare yourself, because Horizon’s and Ernie, completely outdid themselves!

It was SO exciting to get to see a venue like this before the guests arrived! And that the bride and groom got a chance to come in and take it all in before hand. THIS is their day, and it goes by so fast it’s nice to be able to take a minute, when all the work you’ve been doing sets in, and appreciate the effort.

I know it’s part of my job to be a bit detail oriented… but add that to my interest in design, architecture, and interiors… and you have no idea the level of appreciation I have for a beautiful floor! This couple would be gorgeous anywhere, but without the distracting carpet patterns and moveable dance floors… this first dance picture is one of my all time faves!

I also want to give a special shout out to the amazingly talented and fun entertainment! Midwest Dueling Pianos was a fantastic choice for reception entertainment, that I never would have thought of! I sure hope to run into these guys again! Perfection!

Congratulations Andria and Anthony! Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your most special day!
It was completely unforgettable!
