Rachel + Nathan

“Spent time in your arms to know… just where… I wanna be. I heard your voice enough to know… just what… I need to hear.”

Ok, so kind of a funny story. It starts with a girl finding me through Facebook, as most do. Actually, all of our common friends are girls I’d done senior sessions for 😀 But this name was different… I recognized it, but couldn’t exactly place why. So I went off on a little FB stalking to find her mother, and sure enough, this girl…woman…who is about to be married, was the same little baby I rocked to sleep (even hours after she fell asleep, because what’s better than the most adorable sleeping baby?!) when I was in high school!

So now that I have completely aged myself *shame* I have to tell you about the totally magnificent girl she has become! I was predisposed to love her, but when she mentions her love of vintage, and her plans for her big day, oh my gosh, the excitement is uncontainable! I mentioned this dream of a vintage theme and BOOM she ran with it! With wardrobe help from Adomaitis, a glorious vintage/costume rental shop in Old Town Saginaw. You really need to check it out! They cover everything from Estate Sales to the late great Dennis Adomaitis’s paintings <3 ) And hair by the ever so talented Janey, owner and stylist extraordinaire, of Rock Your Locks Salon (also in Old Town on Court Street!)

Can’t wait to see what Rachel and Nathan come up with for their big day! (And more about Nathan next time too, I promise! He’s a pretty cool chap!)
