Alana + Brad

“So what could it be… that makes me always say… I wouldn’t have it any other way? It’s got to be you… there’s no substitute.”

Here it is! The high light of my winter season so far! We may have had high hopes for a good snow storm, but I’d say this turned out perfection! It all started with the search for the perfect red dress. Which happens to be hard to find when you’re looking for it specifically! So this beautiful lace sleeve number from Lulu’s took the honor.

I have to say this girl is the perfect one for her job, such a trooper out in the elements! I probably said 15 times that we could be done if she was cold… and every time the response was “Oh no, I’m fine, it’s not bad.” #bestillmyheart

These two are the cutest, I love how they interact with each other. All of my requests were met with immediate action. I can not WAIT for their big day! Until then!

What is your occupation?

Brad : Executive Producer at WNEM
Alana : TV Anchor / Reporter

Where are you from?

Brad : Reese, MI
Alana : Gaylord, MI

How did you meet?

Brad : On our first day of work.
Alana : In the lobby on the first day of work. We both started the same day, and we were awkwardly waiting for a tour of the station. They say never to date your co-worker… oops!

What was your first impression?

Alana : I actually thought he was a salesman! He was dressed up for a good “first day impression,” but that’s all I really remember about the first meeting. I was pretty nervous about my new job too, but I loved that he was nice, and so quick to welcome me to a new area.

What was your first date?

Brad : I wasn’t sure if she thought of it as a date, since we started hanging out under the guise of me showing her around the area since she wasn’t from around Saginaw and I was. It was a pretty good date so when I dropped her off at her apartment, I decided to go for the kiss! The look on her face was a mixture of fear and shock, so I thought I probably blew it. But apparently it wasn’t so bad, because she kept talking to me and we went out again!

Alana : 3 years
