Not everyone has the luxury of jetting off to palm trees and sunshine for spring break! So we took an afternoon with a few of my stay-cation members of The BSC Elite and made the most of it! All very “last minute” and what we could throw together from the style closet, I am beyond excited with how it turned out! Had fun playing with hair and makeup, and going on a little location scouting adventure (someone finally got wise to my 1st location choice 😉 Side note : We were extra careful, left nothing, and took nothing but pictures. Promise!

Some people get confused about these being “senior pictures”, and I assure you, they are not! The senior portrait experience may also go off the beaten path, but they are always a good mix of looks and locations to please everyone from grandma to a 17 year old’s sense of adventure. These shoots are a chance to play dress up, a chance to practice in front of the camera, a chance to get to know me and learn little tips and tricks before their big day, and a chance for me to practice new techniques and equipment. <3 Scroll on through to see and read a little more about their experience as well!

Going into the day I felt really good and ready for it. I was not nervous at all being that it was my 3rd shoot and I kinda know the process now. The outfit that I wore was very different and unique for me because I never really would see myself in a white dress and a striped jacket any time soon. I ended up loving the look and being all wild and crazy! – Regan

I was super excited and I didn’t know what to expect because I didn’t know the theme of the shoot.
Once we picked out the outfits and did our hair and makeup I was SO excited because it was so
out of my comfort zone and not something that I would typically wear. – Austyn

I was really nervous because I didn’t really know the girls and or what I was going to wear. – Adiah

I was definitely a little nervous when we first got to the location, but once we started taking pictures, it was so much fun!
I was fascinated by all of the cool things at the location and the different lights we used. – Austyn

During the shoot I was just thinking about how much fun it was and also that when you see pictures of people it looks like it only takes them
a few seconds to take pictures but shooting takes a longtime to make sure everything is perfect. – Adiah

During the shoot I was really nervous about how the pictures would turn out because of the background and everything around it. But this shoot really showed me something “old” or “broken” can actually be transformed into something beautiful and creative! – Regan

At the end of the day, I was super excited to see the results of how the pictures turned out! I didn’t want the day to end at all because I was having so much fun! – Austyn

as scary as I imagined and that I ended up having a lot of fun with it. – Adiah

Now that I have my pictures back, I’m obsessed! They turned out so amazing, and braving the dirt and the cols was absolutely worth it! – Austyn

At the end of the day I felt really good. I felt like I accomplished something crazy that I wanted to do which was go into and see an abandoned building. The second thing that I wanted to do was wear a different and crazy outfit that was kinda dark in a way. I felt really confident in the look too!! – Regan

Now that I have the pictures back I am so in love with this shoot! It was so interesting to see how something little and “broken” can be turned into something incredible. I loved how it was also so versatile between each and everything picture like with light and darkness. And finally seeing how they turned out compared to how I thought they would turn out was incredible! – Regan

Now that I have the pictures back, I’m really happy with the way that they turned out and I think that all of them look fantastic.
They look effortless like it only took a few minutes to take them and they were already perfect as is (which I know is not the case 😉
