Meeting with Stephanie and Jordan for the first time we made plans for a unique type of engagement session, one that really fell into the BSC wheel house! Her first request was that there wouldn’t be so many leaves on the trees, and that we do it in a season before that happens (keep in mind she’s also chosen a December wedding, so it does seem to fit the bill ;). So we headed out in March and were completely frozen out of our grand plan! But that wasn’t going to stop us, so we rescheduled for June. Stephanie is a little bit better of a weather watcher than I am, so we started a little early because she was convinced it was going to rain. (Jordan and I saw nothing but blue skies, and definitely thought she was wrong, there was just no way it could turn that quickly!) Dang if she wasn’t right, these clouds flew in like a boss and covered our gorgeous sunshine! But we made it through just in time and… magic. Can’t wait to see these two in December!

Tell me about your first date/impression :

Stephanie : Jordan was so nervous!! Haha He showed up to get me 20 min early and I totally wasn’t ready yet, then he took me to dinner at Big E’s in Midland. I thought he was so sweet and such a gentleman, he treated me very well. Of course he is super handsome which doesn’t hurt either 🙂 I knew the date went really well, it was pretty obvious that we were both really into each other. We have been inseparable since that first date!

How did you meet?

Jordan : Through Stephanie’s brother Charlie.

How did you meet?

Stephanie : We met through my brother Charlie, Jordan and Charlie have been good friends for a few years and while I always knew who Jordan was I had never considered dating him or anything like that. We all went to a parade in Freeland last year, and Jordan and I started talking after that, when I messaged him about building me a deck at my house. It was basically an excuse to talk to him. He asked me out shortly after and we have been together ever since! I never got my deck built.

Tell me about your first date/impression :

Jordan : I showed up to her house 5 minutes early to pick her up for dinner and surprisingly, she wasn’t ready. When I first saw the orange and grey dress she was wearing I was taken away and thought damn she is out of my league. The evening went on and we had dinner at big e’s where I was nervous as can be. I tried my hardest to not mess things up and make a decent first impression. We had ice cream and went to watch a movie. I had butterflys all night and still to this day get those same butteryfly feelings from her. Indescribable and wouldn’t change anything.
