As a wedding photographer there is nothing better than wedding days with people you know. It’s almost as if you’re part of the family. Celebrating again with the Stedry family this past weekend was an absolute joy, it seriously couldn’t have been improved! When Jenna and Jeremy met with me, not long after standing in Kara and Travis’ wedding in October, she made sure to stress that this wasn’t going to be the huge affair that we’d all just taken part in. There’s something to be said for every size wedding, so far I’ve had groups of 2 to 22, and there is no “just right”, it’s only what’s right for you and your friends and family. But this group was special, we had lots of time to hang out with everyone, take even more “party shots” than I’ve been used to lately, and it was perfect. We had beautiful weather, lush greens, a family barn, and a beautiful venue for their family. Only one more Steadry to go, maybe I’ll be seeing them all again, one more time! 😉

How did you meet?

Jenna : Through our mutual friend Leanne 🙂

How long did you know each other before tying the knot?

Jeremy : Two years and some change.

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Jeremy : Watching Jenna walk down the aisle 🙂

What advice do you have for other first time grooms?

Jeremy : Gentlemen, remember, it’s really, truly is all about her.

What would you change, if anything, about your wedding day?

Jeremy : Being able to spend some more time with everybody that came out to celebrate with us!

What advice do you have for other first time brides?

Jenna : Ladies, beware of eyelash glue, it means business. I’ve tried all of Google’s recommendations, and even the special remover and no luck. On a positive, they looked faabuulloouusss!

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Jenna : Cake… and having all of my siblings in one place at the same time (happens almost never). <3

What would you change, if anything, about your wedding day?

Jenna : More cake! I honestly can’t think of anything that I would change–maybe more time to talk to people that I didn’t make it around to. Overall, flat out, it was a wonderful day!
