Hot. It was hot. Not too hot. But it was getting there. The most beautiful summer day, all the sunshine in the world, and a bride more than willing to beat the heat and power through for lots and LOTS of picture time! *be still my heart*
I met Renee and John back in the winter, and we did their stunning engagement on what was probably one of the coldest days of the year… I figure this was pay back. 😉 If you missed it, check it out HERE! Such a stunning couple.
Renee put together one of the most gorgeous backyard affairs I’ve ever seen! Her attention to detail is unmatched! How Did You Meet?
Renee: I baby sat for years for a guy John works with and he tried for 6 or 9 months to set us up. I finally said yes and it was a great choice. We went on a double date when he showed up to pick me up I was so nerves because he was really tall and good looking and had a really good voice. We went out to dinner at Olive Garden then had some drinks at Cotys and ended at there work Christmas party. The night went was fun. We ended up going on a real date a week later. he took me to a restraint down in Detroit. He played NSYNC on the way because he remembered me saying how much I loved them when I was younger. At dinner we had great conversation and a lot of laughs I new this would go some where.
How Did You Meet?
John : A guy who I worked with showed me a photo of Renee and wanted us to go on a date. I thought he was joking me with and showed me some model’s photo. But he wasn’t joking so I went on a date with her. I think we both knew right away our relationship was going some where.
What was your favorite part of the day?
John : My beautiful bride.
What advice do you have for other brides?
Renee : Its all about the two of you. Do what you want on your big day.
As long as the two of you are happy then thats all that matters!
What advice do you have for other grooms?
John : Don’t stress the small details because the day is about the marriage the two of you and know one else.
What was your favorite part of the day?
Renee : Every thing!!! But I loved our back yard party to celebrate us with only family and close friends.
How long have you known each other?
Renee and John : Three and a half years.
What would you change about your day?
Renee and John : Nothing! It was perfect!!!
