Allie + Mitchell

So this session turned into a little bit of an adventure! As we’ve come to know, I love a destination, shooting someplace I’ve never been, and a good adventure. Allie and Mitchell agreed to come up to Traverse City, and though things didn’t go exactly as planned… I’d say we succeeded in greatness!
I love the water, and marinas make for an awesome backdrop. We didn’t exactly think about the fact that 90% of the boats have been removed from the water for the season! Oops!
Then we headed out to what we THOUGHT was a winery, or at least tasting room. Nope. Epic fail Google Maps! So in true Leslie fashion, I pick a spot on the side of the road. Also not the best plan as it was FULL of burrs! (But there was this wicked cool natural gas rigging there :D) So we get in the car and drive up a little ways, and were pleasantly surprised when we walked up the hill and saw the expanse of windy trail up and down the power lines. <3 <3 <3 Perfect! And unlike anyone else! Now that’s blacksheepchic! Thanks for the adventure Allie and Mitchell! Can’t wait for your big day!

Mitchell : We went to high school together and hung around the same group of friends.
Allie : I first remember meeting Mitchell in Sunday school when we were very young, he doesn’t remember meeting me at this time! Years later we hung out with the same friend group.. funny story, at first I tried hooking him up with my best friend, Sophie…Until I realized I liked him!
What was your first date?
Allie : First date was to a movie… I think.. haha. I felt more comfortable with Mitchell than I ever have with anyone. I felt like I could be myself in front of him, and knew he would accept me as I was. My first impression was that he had a good sense of humor!

Mitchell : Honestly don’t remember our first official date.. We always hung around in a small group of friends and then some day I thought I should probably try and date Allie she seems very nice. So I bugged her for about 6 months before she finally caved and let me date her. Now we are engaged!

Mitchell : Almost 4 years.
