I had such a nice time with these two in Midland City Forest last week. Despite the drop in temps, it was a pretty night, and as you’ll see in the pics and video, their’s is a kind of love I can relate to 😉 I can not wait to celebrate with Molly and Cal on their big day, she is going to make the most beautiful bride! Tell me about your first date/impression :

Molly : We had been talking for a few days or a week and he invited me to come out for his friend’s birthday. I was so nervous and didn’t want our first time hanging out to be in a group of people, so I asked him to come down to Lansing, where I was living at the time, the night before the party. I remember him showing up in sweatpants after I spent forever stressing over what to wear. We had a great plan to get drinks and go out to dinner but didn’t do either. We spent the night catching up and when we finally got hungry, I had no food in my apartment so our first outing was to Meijer for a frozen pizza. I came up the next day for the party and a few weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend. I always said I would never move back to Midland but less than a year later, I moved back to be with him and two years later, here we are.

How did you meet?

Molly : We met in middle school and dated for a hot couple of weeks in 7th or 8th grade. We weren’t friends in high school and hadn’t spoken for years when he Facebook messaged me two years ago, suggesting we hang out.

Tell me about your first date/impression :

I invited Molly to a party at my house I was hosting Saturday night after Facebook messaging for a few days. She said if I wanted her to come to the party, I needed to come down to see her Friday in Lansing where she lived at the time, and I agreed. I was a bit nervous since I hadn’t seen her since High School, other than a little run in one night at CMU years prior. We had plans to go out for dinner and drinks. When I have to drive any distance i like to be comfortable, so when I got to her apartment I hopped out of my truck wearing sweatpants. She requested I bring vodka, so I handed her a bottle of grey goose, grabbed my duffle bag and we went inside. We ended up not going out for dinner or drinks. Instead, we went to meijer and got a frozen pizza, came home and just sat and talked all night long over a few cocktails. I never changed out of my sweatpants. The next morning, I left for home with a smile on my face. She showed up a few hours later for the party and that was that.
