From an engagement session a year ago, to a wedding 6 months ago, to this week, Kayla has become one of my very best friends and a girl after 100% of my heart! There’s not many people I can talk into this particular adventure, but the fun and images we get to make are completely priceless. It rained all day on Kayla and Craig’s New Years Eve wedding and this gave us a chance to grab some beautiful outdoor images in another season. It also gave us a chance to explore a bit with no time limit! The actual “trash the dress” part of a trash the dress session is only a piece of what we do, and everyone’s ideas are different; from beaches and water to powder and paint, it’s a chance to get out there and show a little more of your daily life and personality. Don’t get hung up on the word “Trash”, 75% of the time it can be cleaned again just fine, it only depends on what you choose. This may not come out, but I think it’s a work of art unto itself! Hopefully this inspires you to get out your dress!
