It was such an awesome surprise when these two came to meet to talk about wedding photography! It was only last fall that I met them while shooting Jeremy’s sister Kara’s wedding. I swear everyone that touched this family is completely wonderful and kind in every way! So, you want to know one of my favorite things? When people are open for whatever I throw at them! A few wardrobe suggestions, a killer location, and I’d say everything turned out better than I could have imagined! (If you leave out the part about crashing the drone into a pole…) And I can’t wait to see them in June! Enjoy!

What is your occupation?

Jenna : Art Teacher
Jeremy : Teacher and newly licensed Realtor

Where are you from?

Jenna : I grew up in little Clare, MI.
Jeremy : I grew up in Hemlock.

Where are you going to live after the wedding?

Jenna : Our new house in Midland, MI!
Jeremy : In our new residence in Midland 🏠👍🏼

How did you meet?

Jenna : We met through a mutual friend.
Jeremy : Through a mutual friend of ours; we met at Buffalo Wild Wings and Jenna just happened to tag along.
She was (and still is) pretty easy on the eyes.

What was your first impression?

Jenna : Wellll… There was not really any first date– no worries I gave him plenty of crap for it 🙂 . We did a lot of hanging out with friends (mostly his vintage ball gatherings because of games every weekend in the summer), family stuff, and him taking advantage of my cooking/baking skills, and binge watching How I Met Your Mother. When we first met I thought no way we are complete opposite, how is this going to work. Turns out we are a better balance than I ever imagined.

What was your first impression?

Jeremy : I wouldn’t say it was a first date. It all started with a few “how are you doing” conversations, that led to meeting each other, to well, puttin’ a ring on it.💍

How long had you been dating before getting engaged?

Jenna : We were together a little over 2 years before getting engaged.
Jeremy : We started dating in September of 2014, making it 2 plus years.

What five words best describes him?

Jenna : Driven, stubborn, selfless, loving, mine <3.

What five words best describes her?

Jeremy :
AUTHENTIC. What you see from Jenna is what you get. She isn’t trying to hide anything from anyone when she has something on her mind. She is not afraid to speak up when she feels the need.
LOYAL. She is always there at my side, hand-in-hand.
SUPPORTIVE. When I get an idea in my head, Jenna has been there to support it 100%. I am in the middle of a career crossroads and she has been my rock, guiding me to where and what I want to be.
GENEROUS. Jenna is a giver. She always seems to find a way to put smiles on faces of her loved ones. Most especially me.
ROMANTIC. Cooking dinners, accompanying me on my base ball and coaching excursions. Becoming the next Mrs. Stedry, that’s all romantic to me.
