It was such an honor to be chosen to document this couple’s wedding day! Even when things don’t go as planned, these two rock their images every time. From a winter engagement without snow, to a garden wedding with heavy rain, I have never been so excited about things not going “right”. Of course it doesn’t hurt that they planned a stunning affair in beautiful unique venues, and have a wedding party that belongs in the magazines! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Ivey!

How did you meet?

Alana : We met at work, nervously on both our first days on the job.

Alana : Almost 4 years.

Brad : We met in the lobby of TV5, starting our first day of work on the same day.

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Alana : Brad’s crazy emotional face as I walked toward him, and having such a ball on the dance floor.

Brad : The ceremony!

What would you change, if anything, about your wedding day?

Alana : Mother Nature. But not really, it was all perfect.

Brad : Maybe moved up the ceremony a half hour. But it was pretty perfect!

What advice do you have for other first time grooms?

Brad : Don’t let the little things stress you out! Most don’t really matter on the day of.

Alana : Definitely have a rain back up! Glad we did! And take everything slow, enjoy it.
