Hannah Hamann
Oh. My. Gosh. She did it. She found me my new favorite location. I. Die. <3 <3 <3 We had THE most perfect day to explore on our way to our destination, and when I thought we would run out of time/light, I was mistaken. Hannah totally rocked her senior session in every way! From having all different colored looks, to picking out a gown from the style closet, she completely surprised me. This is a teen that is rarely seen out of athletic apparel! And to really top things off, she managed to keep her energy up right till the end! This beauty is going to kick*** and take names in life. Go Hannah!
Which was your favorite look?
My favorite look was the prom dress in the junk yard. I loved the rustic look of the cars with the formal dress. However, if I had to choose just in an outfit, I loved the yellow skirt. It was so different from what I would normally wear, however, I absolutely loved it. I was so comfortable in the outfit and felt so confident.
What school Clubs/Activities are you involved in?
I have played soccer ever since I was four years old. Being that young, I really didn’t have an inspiring reason to start playing the sport. However, I continued playing the sport because of not only the physical strength but the mental strength needed. I enjoy the mental game that a sport like soccer requires you to have. No matter how many times you get pushed down or lose a hard game, you have to get back up, stand tall and work hard to become better.
I am also a member of Saginaw Career Complex’s Robotics Team, 703 Phoenix. I have only been a part of them robotics community for 2 years now. I went from just another team member trying to learn as much as I could my first year, to the teams driver my second year. I decided to see what robotics was all about when I joined Great Lakes Bay Early College. I have always enjoyed working with mechanics, such as anything from jetskis to cars. I highly enjoy the fact you have to work as a team or else nothing is going to get done. The time constraint for building this robot makes things a little more intense. Also on competition day, the matched only lasts 3 minutes. You have to have confidence in your team, decisions, and react fast to whatever happens.
Why did you choose blacksheepchic?
I chose blacksheepchic because of how different she is from other photographers.
What are you most looking forward to your Senior Year?
Honestly, since I have two years left with early college, I really was only looking forward to my senior pictures!
What do you think makes blacksheepchic different than other photographers?
There are a few things that makes blacksheepchic different from any other photographers. For example, she doesn’t shoot in the same location in the same year. Each location is unique to the senior. Relating to that, every outfit is unique to the senior as well. A week before your session, you meet with blacksheepchic so she can help you choose your outfits. Without that, there was no way my senior pictures would have never looked anywhere near as good. I am the type of person who wears athletic clothes everyday. I was not used to dressing up. However, when choosing my clothes I never felt forced to wear a specific outfit that I didn’t feel was like me.
What are your current plans after graduation?
After graduating high school, I plan to finish my associates degree in applies sciences at Delta college then transferring to Indiana University- Purdue University of Indianapolis (IUPUI) for Motorsports and Mechanical engineering degrees. I choose this school because of the Motorsports engineering degree; in which only three schools in the county offer the degree. My brother attends the school for a business major and he introduced me to the degree. I’ve chose these major due to the my fascination with racing and behind the scenes of the teams.
What was your favorite thing about your session?
My favorite things about my session was how spontaneous our locations were. All I knew I wanted to end up in Au Gres, however, we stopped many places on the way to our main location.
