Frankenmuth Fall Maternity Session

“The sun is on my side… Take me for a ride… I smile up to the sky… I know I’ll be alright…”

Kendra has not had the best of luck with pregnancies. There are pretty severe complications and a lot of bed rest involved. But knowing that this was going to be the last one, it was even more important to get it documented.

So last fall I headed out to their (seriously cool) home just outside of Frankenmuth, so she wouldn’t have to stray very far. We found what was left of the fall colors and even managed to get her very energetic little one to cooperate for a shot or two, before he was bribed away with the promise of a Slurpee. (We all have our vices šŸ˜‰

I wish I could’ve captured more of the architecture of their home so you could full appreciate it like I did, but we had to go where the light was. And baby boy #2 is now with us and well! CongratulationsĀ Bierlein Family!

This is a very special and fleeting time, the degree of which you plan to document it, is up to you. But document it. I may not be the one to tell you how magical being pregnant is, in fact the whole idea scares the crap out of me…. but meeting a baby within a few weeks of taking these images, is an absolutely mystifying thing to me. So for you, and for that little one inside, call me.
