A year and a half ago I was shooting this amazing backyard wedding in Freeland. 7 months ago I was shooting a family session for one of the bridesmaid’s families. This month, that bridesmaid is engaged, and I am going to be the lucky girl shooting this gorgeous couple’s wedding in August!

Ali and Ryan live in one of the coolest buildings, right in downtown Flint (shout out to the Back to the Bricks area of this town with a bad rap!), The Durant. It has been magnificently rehabbed and the foyer was a gorgeous spot! And not far down the way is a bar and grill the frequent often… the 501! I’m going to HAVE to go back with time to eat! This place was awesome! And perfect to tell THEIR story.

Of course I’m still going to press for a few outside, even if we’re battling the wacky Michigan winter….rain??? And I love the results! Can’t wait to see you again in August! Congratulations!
