Meet Emmalie, a beautiful addition to The Elite this year and a senior at Swan Valley High School! I absolutely adore this girl’s style! She’s everything a photographer dreams of and rocks it all! I was so happy to have her and her mom join us on our adventure to San Francisco, and I believe this one is destined for greatness. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of her this year as well!

What school Clubs/Activities are you involved in?

I am involved in National Honors Society, I’ve always wanted to become more involved with our community and NHS allows you to have hands on experience with just that. Secondly, I withold a job at Dow Chemical in Bay City, where I am a Highschool Co-Op. I love that working for this company allows me to meet new people from all over our country, problems solve, and learn important skills that can help me in the future. Lastly, I work part time a Thomas Townships Recreational Department. This job allows me to work hands on with kids in our community. Having this role in the community allows me to not only teach kids the rules of the game but also teach them what is right and wrong. And of course always cheering them on to do their absolute best!

Which was your favorite look?

My favorite look out of all six of them would be the purple dress. I loved the flow and pop of color that the dress had to offer. Also I liked how the dress was versatile in either of the locations.

What are you most looking forward to your Senior Year?

When it comes to senior year I am most looking forward to the last’s. The last homecoming, the last prom, the last football game being able to sit in the student section with my friends. The last memories and moments right before graduating. I’m also very excited for the new beginning as well; going to college, meeting new people and most of beginning the education that will lead me to my dream career.

Why did you choose blacksheepchic?

I chose blacksheepchic because her photos are individually unique from everyone else’s. Not to mention, all the photos she takes are absolutely stunning! I love how all of her pictures have a different setting and you can know for sure that no one will have the same photo as you.

What are your current plans after graduation?

Currently, I plan on attending Saginaw Valley State University to begin my education on becoming a Physician Assistant and specialize in Pediatrics. This is the career path that I have choosen because I love being able to work with kids and most importantly helping them feel better or at least more comfortable. I truly feel that’s kids can have the largest impact on your life and one day someone that I help could look up to me and say “I want to be like her”, that would be the greatest feeling of all time, knowing that I made an impact on them!

What do you think makes blacksheepchic different than other photographers?

Before choosing blacksheepchic to take my senior photos, I thought that my pictures would’ve been just like everyone else’s in my school. I am so happy to say that after choosing Leslie to take my pictures I will have the most unique and beautiful senior pictures and I am sure of that!

What was your favorite thing about your session?

The best part about my senior session was being able to go on a journey, which led us to San Francisco! If I had to pick one favorite, it would be, being able to have the beach pictures that I dreamed of! I also loved how each day I had a different look and new location as well. Lastly I loved that I was able to build a stronger friendship with all of the girls as well.
