Davidson Wedding
Another one for the books. You know it’s going to be good when the bride calls you up to book, but….she’s not technically engaged 😉 She wants to do her engagement session in Napa, CA, but that also depends on a lottery for a race. Well, I’m all about last minute adventures, and this wouldn’t set me off course one bit! So we found out she made the race, we planned the trip, she got engaged, we had a beautiful day in Napa, a change of date, a change of wedding venue, a phone call that went like this {Me: “Dana! Why didn’t you tell me that you changed it to Labor Day weekend?! Dana: “I didn’t! It’s the last Saturday in August!” Me: “….check the calendar!” Dana: “Oops! I guess it’s Labor Day weekend!”} and here we are!
Our day at Indian Trails Metropark was so beautiful it was hard to narrow down! I hope to see these new friends again and again! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Davidson!
How did you meet?
Dana and I met while working together at Ford Motor Company. I knew the moment I saw her that she was special. Special enough to overturn the world to be with her. – Jon
How did you meet?
We met while working together at Ford Motor Company. Jon reached out to me in an email after he saw me in a meeting. From there we started talking every day! – Dana
How long did you know each other before tying the knot?
3 years, 9 months, and 22 days… but who was counting? -Dana
1,391 days – Jon
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
Saying our vows to each other. I enjoyed focusing on nothing else but what we had to say to each other. – Jon
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
The ceremony! It was such a special moment. From Jon’s mother doing the officiating to us writing our own vows, the ceremony was so personal. I felt like everyone was able to peek into our relationship for a few minutes and understand just how much we love each other. – Dana
What advice do you have for other first time grooms?
Regardless of how much planning each person does for the event, once you mutually agree on the way you want the day to go, don’t deviate and try to enjoy the day completely, with hiccups and all. You and the your partner are the most important people that day.
What advice do you have for other first time brides?
Schedule some time during the wedding day to be completely alone with your bride/groom. It is YOUR day after all!
