It still amazes me when I get inquiries from grooms! And this one was hard to forget, with a name like Kevin Rose, I was a little wary of it’s legitimacy 😉 But let me tell you, I have to give him a shout out for being one of the best communicators I’ve ever come across. (Wait till you see what he does… it’ll be less of a surprise 😉 So together, these two are the sweetest, most laid back couple. Open and willing to take suggestions, sometimes to extent (the request to dance was greeted with some interesting moves.) We had a nice day out exploring the Middlegrounds and a little stop downtown. Can’t wait to see them in September!

How did you meet?

Kevin : We found out that we attended Central Michigan University at the same time but had never met until we found each other online.
Christina : After both of us moved up to Bay City for work, we decided to try our luck with online dating and met online.

Tell me about your first date/impression :

Christina : We had been talking online and texting up until meeting for the first time. After the holidays we found a Sunday that we both had some free time and met up at a coffee shop. I figured that was a safe bet, even though I didn’t even like coffee at the time! I was nervous showing up after being late, having trouble finding parking and realizing after leaving my glasses in the car I might have an issue seeing who I was supposed to be meeting with! The main thing I remember about that day is how surprised I was that a few hours had gone by and we just spent the entire time talking without having any pauses during the conversation. It felt like we had known each other for a while.

Tell me about your first date/impression :

Kevin : We met at Brewtopia in Bay City for coffee. I arrived super early and super nervous. She texted me that she couldn’t find a parking spot so she was running a little late. It was sweet that she thought to text me even though it was only a minute or so. I remember looking out the front window and seeing her for the first time. I was in the back of the coffee shop and stood up and everyone turned to look at me and then turned to look at her. I just remember thinking “wow, she is so beautiful”. We talked for hours but it felt like we had known each other for years.

Kevin : A little under 2 years.
