Tiffany + Travis

We’ve had quite a bit of rain this season on my wedding days, and sun for most of my seniors. It was a nice reprieve to have a little cloud cover for Tiffany and Travis’ engagement session. (Shout out to the new Uptown Bay City for their beautiful riverside backdrop!)
These two are completely easy going! “Whatever you think is best, Leslie.” (I should have tested this theory a little more and asked Travis to let Tiffany push him into the river… I mean this man even ironed for me!!!)
I can’t wait for their big day and to meet the rest of the family, it’s bound to be laid back perfection!

How did you meet?
Travis : First met her on the school bus as kids and damn she looked good.
Tiffany : Travis and I have known each other since grade school. He says we first met on the school bus but I dont remeber that (shh, dont tell him). I first became friends with his sister so he was the older brother that was always around. Throughout our school years and roaring twenties Travis and I became good friends, always staying in touch and even flirting with each other on occassion. It wasn’t until our early thirties that Travis FINALLY asked me out on our first date.
What was your first date?
Tiffany : We did the normal date night: dinner and a movie. Maybe it was because we had known each other for so long but our first date was a little awkward at first (the butterless popcorn and boring movie probably didnt help-all my fault by the way). As the night went on, it got much better and the good night kiss that I received at the end of our date left me wanting more of this man that suddenly went from my lifelong friend to my handsome boyfriend. From that point on, I could not get enough of him and we have barely spent a day apart since then.
What was your first date?
Travis : Ya first date, a little weird. It started with me stopping into her work to see how she was doing. We started chatting and she said it was her birthday later that week so I offered to take her out. For some crazy reason she yes. Now on the date we went to dinner and for some reason she was nervous, I have no idea why cuz I was the one that was way out of my league. I had no business being with this beautiful woman. Anyways, she was too nervous to order what she wanted which was some deep fried pickles. lol. Fast forward to the movies where again she was so nervous she order popcorn with no butter. OMG!! It was the driest popcorn I had ever eaten! I don’t think much got eaten. Also it might have been the dumbest movie we have watched since. So wasn’t the greatest first date in history but my god did I fall in love with one of the greatest and most caring woman in the world. She is the love of my life.

Travis : Dating 2012, engaged 2016…so 4 years.
