Brianna and Ben

Though the past year has been hell on the wedding market, I am happy to keep doing what I love, and this engagement session was no exception! We had a BEAUTIFUL night in Bay City, complete with champagne and an adorable pup! Also a new location for me! (You know that really makes me heart happy!) It’s going to be a blast celebrating with these two as the newest Mr. and Mrs. Garrison!

How did you meet?

I had just graduated college and moved to Fort Wayne Indiana to start my career. Within the first couple weeks my cousin and her husband wanted to take me out to dinner, they knew this awesome bartender who was super funny and I just had to meet him! They were right, he was awesome and super funny but he was also incredibly handsome and charming. We hit it off immediately! A couple months later he finally asked me on a date. Fast forward a few years and here we are, planning the rest of our lives together. – Brianna

I was a bartender and she came in with her cousin who was a regular of mine. I knew I liked her immediately! – Ben

It was a double date with her cousin (same one that introduced us). I was extremely nervous, tried on 10 different shirts lol. I was so worried about what we’d talk about but it was seamless. We talked for hours just going back and forth. I thought it was the best date I’ve ever been on. I couldn’t wait for another. – Ben

When Ben and I first met I immediately noticed his smile and his eyes. We were in a crowded place but within minutes it felt like we were both in our own little world, sharing stories and laughing together! I even touched his arm mid conversation which he still thinks is a very big deal. We had a lot in common and he had some very entertaining stories although I’m not sure how much of it was exaggerated to try to impress me but I didn’t care, I could’ve sat there all night talking to him. Our first date came a few months after that and it went better than I could’ve imagined. We started with dinner then found random places to go because we didn’t want the date to end. We ended up just walking around town until 2 or 3 am talking and laughing together. I don’t think either of us we’re looking for forever at the time but the days quickly turned into weeks, months then years and it just got better and better. – Brianna
