Bommarito Wedding

This was definitely a wedding to remember! I hadn’t spent much time with Brianna and Brandon, having not been the one to shoot their engagement photos. But this perfect timeline of firsts gave us lots of time to hang together for beautiful portraits AND fun! This was the first time I had the pleasure of having a second shooter (shout out to Sarah Davis @ Sarah Davis Photography for helping me out!), and my first time shooting a reception in this most perfect space <3 This wedding party was so helpful and cooperative, I couldn’t have asked for a better day! They even put their heart into my silly requests! (Check out these smiles and the cool wedding party photo!) So grateful to have been a part of this special day! How did you meet?

Brianna : Brandon and I met after I moved to Hemlock during our junior year of high school. We were introduced by a mutual friend at a party but did not start dating until as Brandon states it, I “pursued him”. What can I say, this girl knows what she wants! 😉

Brandon : We met in high school.

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Brianna : My favorite part of my wedding day was when the church doors opened and I got to see Brandon waiting for me at the alter. The moment I saw him any nervous energy I had completely subsided and for a second it felt as if it was just him and I in the church.

How long did you know each other before tying the knot?

Brandon : We dated for ten and a half years before getting married.

What would you change, if anything, about your wedding day?

Brandon : I would not change anything about the day.

Brianna : Honestly, I would not change a thing about our wedding day! I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to say that I had the wedding that I have always dreamed of and more!

How long did you know each other before tying the knot?

Brianna : We have known each other for almost eleven years, dating for ten and a half of them.

What advice do you have for other first time grooms?

Brandon : My advice would be to have fun and don’t stress over anything on your day . In the end it will all go by so fast and everything will fall into place.

What advice do you have for other first time brides?

Brianna : The best advice that I have for other first time brides and grooms is that when it comes to the day of the wedding, do not sweat the small stuff. If something does not go as perfect as you had planned, just remind yourself that the end goal of marring the love of your life is all that matters! Enjoy and embrace every moment of your special day because it really does fly by! Additionally, take some time for just the two of you to get away and soak it all in. This was advice that I received and it was so meaningful for just him and I to be able to appreciate one another and the significance of what the day represents.
