Bednarski Wedding

You all know by now, nothing beats a new location! And man, did Erica deliver! The Octagon Barn in Gagetown is one of the coolest things ever, and for those country wedding vibes, they have a ton of great photo ops on their property! Then, off to Carl’s family farm for a little barn reception? Ha! A HUGE barn reception! They spent a great amount of elbow grease sprucing up this place and slayed it! I was really impressed! (And those that know me, know that’s not an easy thing to do! 😉 Here’s to many happy years for these to farm kids!

How did you meet?

Through friends and interest in agriculture. He will say that we went to a young farmer event and I wouldn’t leave his house, and we have talked everyday since then. – Erica

How long did you know each other before tying the knot?

3 years together, but knew of him before that. – Erica

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

All of it. I don’t think I can pick a favorite part. Getting ready with the girls, first look with dad, the letter CJ wrote, the doors opening and walking down the aisle, seeing CJ when the doors opened, driving our little blue truck for the first time as a married couple, the reception venue that we put soooooo much time and effort into. Having people be in aw that our venue is actually a farm shop, turned wedding venue for the day, and that all the hard work paid off. Having all of our family and friends together and celebrating with us. The whole day was truly the best day ever. – Erica

What would you change, if anything, about your wedding day?

NOTHING. The octagon barn, the reception venue, the weather, our wedding party, our family and friends all being together, the band, everything about it was perfect. – Erica

I wish we would of ate 30-45 min earlier so we would have had more time to visit with folks while they were still seated. – Carl
