Who knew this day was going to be the best one ever!? 😉 A day trip to Suttons Bay is a long one, but with the perfect sunshine, the water, and a hidden gem sunflower field with a killer pink dress, it was all totally worth it! Ashley is a senior at Birch Run High School (another first for me) and a member of The BSC Elite this year. So glad to have her and her adorable style with us! Can’t wait to see where this one goes!

What school Clubs/Activities are you involved in?

forensics: I’ve been in it since 9th grade and I enjoy public speaking. cross country: I’ve been on the team since 9th grade and I actually hate running but I enjoy spending time with my friends on the team and our team bonding activities. soccer: I’ve been on the team since 10th grade and I enjoy it because it is a really fun sport and is a good release if you’ve had a bad day. psych club: I’ve been in it since 11th grade because I am fascinated with psychology and love learning about new topics in the field and spreading awareness to my peers about mental health. history club: I’ve been a member since 11th grade and I enjoy it because I like to learn about different historical periods and topics and I enjoy the projects we do to learn them.

Which was your favorite look?

I really liked my look with the lemon skirt, crazy high heels, and chambray top.

What are you most looking forward to your Senior Year?

I am looking forward to the football games, dances, using the senior lunch line and other senior privileges at my school, and getting accepted to a college.

Why did you choose blacksheepchic?

My friend had taken pictures with blacksheepchic previously and I was amazed with how great the pictures looked and was excited to learn how many senior pictures I would have, as well as having help with my outfits.

What was your favorite thing about your session?

I was impressed with the different poses Leslie came up with and the way she saw a location that I thought was ordinary, and knew how to make it into a great photoshoot location.

What are your current plans after graduation?

I plan to go to a university to study pre-medicine topics, such as biology or biomedical sciences. I’m not sure what university is best for me, but I plan to stay in the state of Michigan.

What do you think makes blacksheepchic different than other photographers?

I liked that there was a style session before my actual photo session because I was able to have unique outfits that complimented me and were different from what everyone else at my school was doing. I also enjoyed that I got to choose the location rather than going to the same location that every in my school does as well.
