Meet Angelique! She is one of the sweetest people I’ve met, with a killer style! You know I always get along with my band kids having been one myself <3 I loved our day in Bay City finding locations old and new, and giving gelled flashes a try once more 😉 A senior at Bay City Central, and a stunner to photograph! I hope she loves these as much as I do!

What school Clubs/Activities are you involved in?

I am involved in Central’s Link Crew, a program which strives to prepare incoming freshman for high school as well as meeting upperclassmen in order to make them feel welcome. I have also been a part of the National Honors Society for three consecutive years. Finally, I am most passionate about Central’s marching band and concert band, which I have been involved in since my freshman year and am proud to say that I have been section leader of the flutes for two years.

Why did you choose blacksheepchic?

I chose blacksheepchic photography because I knew it would capture my personality and let it shine through in my pictures. Also, I recognized other classmates or peers who have had their senior pictures done and loved the way they turned out.

What are you most looking forward to your Senior Year?

Senior year is something that has always seemed miles and miles away, and all of a sudden has come quicker than expected. The bittersweetness of my senior year is definitely something that will take time to process but I will make every last memory count. Despite popular opinion, I have cherished the past three years of my high school career and will never forget how much I love Central. High school has allowed me to value true friendships, a hard work ethic, and staying true to yourself. In terms of graduating, I hope to graduate with honors and keep a high GPA.

What do you think makes blacksheepchic different than other photographers?

I think blacksheepchic differs from other photographers because it prioritizes your style and personality more than any photographer I’ve had experience with, resulting in beautiful pictures that friends and family can admire for the years to come. Additionally, I felt as if I were the only client and my vision was applied to the session effortlessly.

What are your current plans after graduation?

After high school, I will definitely be going to college. For now, I am not certain of which college I will be attending, but my first choice is Hillsdale; a small liberal arts college in Hillsdale, Michigan. During my first four years I am interested in taking a pre-medical course and then going onto medical school in which I would like to pursue a major in pediatric rheumatology.

What was your favorite thing about your session?

One of my favorite things during my session with blacksheepchic was thinking outside the box for settings to take the pictures in and using different effects to produce an entirely unique picture.

Which was your favorite look?

By far, I would have to say that my favorite look in my session was the very last outfit, which replicated a “modern disco” vibe. This is because it was spontaneous and stylish, something that I would have never expected to wear and still highlighted my charismatic personality.
