Andraous Wedding

Not everything goes to plan, and sometimes, things turn out better. We didn’t factor rain into our timeline and were a little crunched for pictures, but nothing compares to their stunning ceremony and lively reception! I haven’t seen that many people on a dance floor ever! In the end it was a beautiful wedding day for Chelsea and Andrew and I was honored to be a part of it! Congratulations!

How did you meet?

At the end of the Summer in 2009, I added Chelsea on MySpace. Our senses of humor clicked and we became good friends.
We officially met in person on a double date to see the movie “Surrogates”. – Andrew

How long did you know each other before tying the knot?

About eight and a half years – Andrew

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Either Andrew making me laugh during the ceremony by saying “DEEZ rings” instead of “these rings” or dancing with everyone on the dance floor. Andrew has always been a great dancer but seeing my parents dance was adorable. – Chelsea

What would you change, if anything, about your wedding day?

Making sure everyone was more aware of timelines so we weren’t running so far behind. We ran behind getting ready and missed capturing the groomsmen getting ready. The rain also caused a hiccup but we ended up being okay. I would recommend getting clear umbrellas for you and the wedding party even if there is only a slight chance of rain. – Chelsea

What would you change, if anything, about your wedding day?

Have umbrellas for the rain! Rain was forecasted for the wedding day early in the week and a few days before the big day it was changed to sunshine. Little did we know, there was a storm-a-brewin’! It really limited our time to take pictures outdoors. – Andrew

What advice do you have for other first time grooms?

Have fun and enjoy the day. Exactly like everyone will tell you, don’t let the little things stress you out. Focus on the big picture! – Andrew

What advice do you have for other first time brides?

Really do your research to make sure you are going to be happy with the results. I’d recommend using theknot.com to find vendors and using etsy.com to get any decor/ extras for the wedding (cake cutting utensils, guest book, flower girl basket, ring bearer pillow, etc.) – Chelsea
