Amaya Burel
This is a big day! Amaya is the first 2 year model team member to make it to senior year! We had a blast in Grand Rapids for her senior session, from the fun mosaic murals, to a beautiful fountain, museum, and sunset, we found the best locations for this darling girl’s images! I am completely in love! What do you think? We have 2 more shoots this year with the team, one coming up in less than two weeks, and you’ll love what we’re getting into next!
What school Clubs/Activities are you involved in?
Amaya : Pon Poms this is my second year, I wanted to try something new meet new people.
What are you most looking forward to your Senior Year?
Amaya : I am looking forward to spending time with my friends and family and making more memories with them. Plus the sporting events that come along with them both!
What are your current plans after graduation?
Amaya : I am planning on going into the Nursing Program, to go into the neonatal unit. I’m planning to go to Saginaw Valley State University.
Which was your favorite look?
Amaya : My olive green dress. It was very flowy and it was floral.
What do you think makes blacksheepchic different than other photographers?
Amaya : I got to go where ever I wanted to go, we didn’t have to stay in Bay City. Many of the other photographers stay at home, and all of us on the team get to do our makeup how we want and our own hair. We still get to have a part of who we are in our pictures.
What was your favorite thing about your session?
Amaya : My favorite thing in my session was going to the different locations, I really enjoyed the fountains. I loved being able to run around and be goofy in the water without getting yelled at.
Why did you choose blacksheepchic?
Amaya : I decided to do blacksheepchic because it was something outside of my bubble, something I was interested in but not comfortable with myself to do. So I attempted it, and as time went on, I learned more about me. And became more confident with who I am as a person. I also got a very good rolemodle out of it all, somebody who can guide in ways a parent can’t when their kids aren’t willing to open up.
