Ally Hill
Meet Ally, a senior this year at Bay City Central, and my own personal teenager for the week. 😉 This is her second year on The BSC Elite and I love having her! She provided all of the slapstick comedy on our trip to San Francisco, just wait till you see the group videos! Surprisingly low maintenance but with dreams of being “beyond extra” I hope to see her in front of my lens again someday 😉
What school Clubs/Activities are you involved in?
I’m involved in a little bit of everything at Bay City Central. I have played golf for three years. I have a love hate relationship with golf. I love meeting new people at every match and having a nice 3 hour conversation with them. (Also the outfits, I love the outfits) The frustrating nature of golf and 6 o’clock practices are what I hate. Although I was lucky enough to make first team all country my sophomore year and would like to do it again. Overall I have enjoyed my three years and can’t wait for my fourth. The clubs I’m involved in is the environmental club and SADD (Students against destructive decisions). These clubs are the way that I can leave a change on my school and peers. The academic extracurriculars I’m involved in are Science Olympiad and National Honor Society. These activities have helped aid my academic career at Central. The final thing I’m involved in is Beccas Closet, which is an organization that provides dresses to girls that cannot afford them so they can still go prom or homecoming. This is the most rewarding thing I’m involved in at Central.
Why did you choose blacksheepchic?
I choose two years ago to a part of the BSC Elite after seeing my friends that were on the teams pictures. After the first photoshoot I knew that is who I wanted taking my senior pictures. Every shootshoot after that reassured my choice with the amazing pictures.
What are you most looking forward to your Senior Year?
It’s crazy that I’m now a senior and there are so many things I’m looking forward to. I’m looking forward to my fourth year of golf. It will be an end to something that has been such a big part of my high school experience. Having no standardized test this year is something I can’t wait for. The stress those bring is finally over. All the perks that come along with being a senior is something I have been waiting for since freshman year. Sitting at the bottom of the stands at football games is a major one I can’t wait for. There’s many last that I’ll experience this year such as last homecoming, last football game, and last day at Central. These are things I’m looking forward to experiencing but sad to see go. I’m honestly excited to be able to start making decisions to shape my future. This is the year that things are finally up to me and I make the decisions.
Which was your favorite look?
The favorite look was definitely the rust colored shirt high, waisted pants, and grey hat.
What are your current plans after graduation?
The question of what I want to do after high school has come up a lot. It’s terrifying yet exciting. No specifics have been decided in my future but I have a general path that I’m starting to figure out. I definitely know I want to go to college but where is still a mystery. I’m also unsure on what major I want to pursue. I know that I would like to go into the public/social services field. I have thought about political science and law/legal studies. That is the current plan but is open for change as my interests develop. I also plan on traveling as much a possible to wherever I have the opportunity to. Finally end up somewhere not in Michigan possibly Seattle.
What do you think makes blacksheepchic different than other photographers?
Blacksheepchic offers so much more than just great pictures. She helps you through every aspect of senior pictures to make them the best possible. Leslie helps with clothes, hair, make up and location. Not only that, she went above and beyond to take me to San Francisco for my senior pictures. Other photographers wouldn’t care and do so much for one person’s senior pictures.
What was your favorite thing about your session?
My favorite thing about my session was the once in a life time experience. Traveling to San Francisco and seeing all the amazing places was incredible. Getting to be able to see a different part of the county and the atmosphere of a big city was my favorite part.
