Oh my gosh! Her laugh, her hair, her dance moves… everything about her made this day beyond awesome! Haley is such an easy going free spirit with a fun sense of style <3 With the help of Emmarsan and her mom we explored Detroit’s coolest spots, from Eastern Market to Belle Isle… and dinner an Atwater Brewery (can’t leave out big city food when you make it to the big city!) Every time I see Haley I learn something new abut her, and I can’t wait to see where she goes! But in the meantime I’ll be cheering on John Glenn Poms from the stands 😉

Which was your favorite look?

My favorite look what is the stripe shirt and pink skirt. I really like the look of it and the velvet heels were also really cool. This is an outfit that was completely from Leslie style closet so that was really cool. I really like the graffiti wall we found in Detroit and I think it really added to the outfit.

What school Clubs/Activities are you involved in?

I have been involed in the sport of pompon for 6 years now. I Initially started because I was looking for something new to do. You could almost say poms is like a cult, once you’re in you’re never out. I also participated in track for two years my eighth grade year and freshman year. I decided to switch over and play tennis my sophomore and junior year as doubles.

What are you most looking forward to your Senior Year?

I am looking forward to being the oldest people at the school and basically celebrating all the achievements and hard work that has come out of 12 years of schooling. It blows my mind that in just over a year it will be over. The people I spent every single day with I will most likely never see again. So I want to treasure the friendships and people around me and make senior year count.

What are your current plans after graduation?

I am hoping to receive through various scholarships a decent ride to SVSU. I am still looking at other college options but I would like to become an orthodontist and open up my own practice one day. If SVSU Does not offer a prestigious program I will look into other schools.

Why did you choose blacksheepchic?

I chose Leslie to do my senior pictures because she offers a variety of different things from clothes to locations to smiles and personality. Once you meet Leslie she will always have you laughing even if she’s doing the fake one. I knew Leslie could give me great pictures so I was like this is the person I want.

What do you think makes blacksheepchic different than other photographers?

Compared to other photographers Leslie picks great locations and does not repeat the same picture over and over like many other photographers in the area.

What was your favorite thing about your session?

My favorite thing about my session was driving around and looking for a cool places exploring Detroit. I really love the abandoned boat house and the feel and look of it. I loved all the laughs we shared and that burger at the end was really good.
